ART IS NOT JUST BEAUTIFUL, IT'S VITAL

Painting for me is about the moment between picking up a brush, swishing it in water and paint, and putting it down on the canvas. It's that breath. That stillness. The light that goes off in your brain, the colors you see in your head. The blank canvas. The potential for beauty and creation and mess.
